PREAMBLE

The Omega Alpha Society is dedicated to the principle that as

knowledge grows, so then does awareness. Awareness is

synonymous with enlightenment, and an enlightened person

can never more be enslaved by the rigidity of ignorance.

 

We further hold to the principle that the universe keeps no

secrets from its children, and that answers exist all around

us, waiting only for the right questions.

 

This is the only basis upon which this society can exist. The

freedom to ask is the freedom to learn. The quest for

knowledge makes no question an outlaw, lest we once again

invite ignorance to shadow the path to enlightenment. This is

perceived to be contrary to the life giving principles of the

universe.

 

This society is not a religion or cult. Furthermore, it shall not

accept as final authority any existing doctrine. Our authority

lies in the awareness of the human mind and to reconcile

that awareness with what is perceived to be our own reality.

 

The universe is the ultimate teacher and authority. It is our

responsibility to open ourselves and learn all we can. To

compile that knowledge in a manner that is not dogmatic,

but easy to understand. And to present what we have learned

to those who seek it.

 

Truth will always prove itself in time

 

 

 

 

 

It might seem to be academic to say this, but a soulmate is the mate of the soul.  It refers to a dual service you are destined to perform with someone other than your Twin Flame. A soul mate can be a good friend or a spouse. The depth of mutual devotion comes from the lifetimes of service together.  It can be a very fulfilling marriage.

On the other hand, Twin Flames have no barriers between them.  There are no rules of love.  Twin Flames are one in spirit and their spiritual origin.  

Soulmates are souls sharing a complimentary calling in life. They are mates in the sense of being partners, very much alike and very compatible because their soul development is at the same level.  They work well together, are project oriented, well mated and often have similar facial features and physique. On the other hand, the mind, heart and consciousness of Twin Flames flow together from the same fountain.  Their inner ties run as deep as the sea.......well beyond mere companionship.  

The Twin Flame is not only a mirror of mind and spirit, but of the soul.  It represents the secret longings and aspirations not only through the link with the love partner, but also provides a direct link with the God-Mind.....the Universal Intelligence.

When people ask if we can have only one soulmate, they are normally thinking in terms of a romantic liaison.  This is not necessarily true. More times than not soulmates are involved in joint ventures as in publishing a book, writing and producing a musical production, form a corporation in an atmosphere of love and amity among many other joint ventures..

Unfortunately, coming together as soulmates isn’t necessarily synonymous with permanence.  In many cases, once the purpose has been completed, the togetherness disappears.  

One shouldn’t feel committed to a marriage because one has found a soulmate.  Another hang-up is that we don’t always marry on our own soul level.  Many times, we are dealing with the impact of karma, and because of this, some people don’t get married. They resist bearing one another’s burden. They simply don’t want the responsibility. They say that marriage would ruin everything, but what they mean is taking on each other’s karma. But that is precisely the inner meaning of the ritual of marriage. That we love so much that we eagerly share the karma of our spouse.  If marriage were a mere physical union, divorce would not be so emotionally devastating. All the battles about who owns what and who gets what, even to the children, really center around the excruciating process of defining one’s self.

Volume 1

I call this column The View From the Bottom because I don't not present myself as an expert. We have far too many of those right now. No, I am simply a writer who has an opinion on just about everything. Sometimes, it is a considered opinion. Other times, it is based on careful study. Still other times, I simply tell you what I think.

Since, I have always wanted to write a column, one of my new friends suggested that I wrote one for my blog. Smart idea.  And so I am giving it a test run, but I am not going to post what I had originally intended to post. Instead, I am posting an email that I sent to her earlier today. She felt that it should be shared with everyone, and since I don't make it a practice to argue with a woman........I won't!  

And so, here is the email.

Shelly.....I haven't watched The Secret yet, but I will just as soon as the dust settles today...tomorrow latest.  I viewed the trailer and it piqued my interest, but just as soon as I read your latest blog, I was further hooked. 

I have been reading something called The Master Key System which was originally written in 1903 (I believe) and first marketed in 1920. I understand that it used to sell for over $1000.00, but that is what I was told. I downloaded it for free just for visiting a website that wanted to sell me something. I may never buy, but I got what I wanted and it might end up being worth far more than what they were selling. The best things in life really are free.

I have only gotten to the third lesson although I could speedread it faster, but I want to soak it up and immerse myself in it.  You see, it deals with re-programming our sub-conscious minds in accordance with natural laws. The Law of attraction is the most primary of all laws.  These laws  are the ones that the Supreme Court cannot rule on.  It's powerful stuff, and we have always had it.  If the Force wanted to hide something from us, it wouldn't bother burying it in the deepest ocean or beyond the farthest star, because we would find it. No, the secrets of the universe are hidden within each and everyone of us. That way we will never find them.

It's the Law of Attraction that has brought you, me and everyone else together in cyberspace, and please don't doubt for one nano second that we can't change this world for the better.  People go to religion for hope, and they die with this hope still in their hearts while people like me tell you that you don't have to die to experience the result of this hope.  The reality of Nirvana.

Nirvana is, has been, and always will be inside of each of us.  We are the spark of life in the universe, and we are the one hope for the survival of this planet.  In the long run, Shelly, we don't have to wait for God to forclose on this planet which is what the fundamentalists believe and expect will happen. In the end,  a reverence for all life will develope on this world, and no more will horses or any other animal have to die for anyone's bottom line. 

I had this nice comical piece all written and ready to post, but I decided not to go there. Maybe I too, will write on this principle, and each day I will go to another natural law.  I refer to the Diety as either The Force, Infininite Love, The Is, The Source, or just plain God, but the next time you look at your image in the mirror, stand very close and look deeply into your own eyes.  Then ask yourself, "Just who are you really?" Empty yourself, be receptive and you will be amazed at the answer.  You might even be surprised, but I don't think so.  We are not vassle servants to a sometimes capricious diety.  Nein!  We are much greater than that, and we are in the process of proving to ourselves.

In my quest for truth, I discovered that it cannot be found while traveling on a super highway. No.......one necessarily has to travel an unmarked path. What I am about to share is a small excerpt from Richard Bach's book entitled One:

You are creatures of light. From light you have come, to light shall you go, and surrounding you through every step is the light of your infinite being.

Dwell you now in the world which you have created. What you hold in your heart shall be true, and what most you admire, that shall you become.

Fear not, nor be dismayed at the appearance that is darkness, at the disguise that is evil, at the empty cloak that is death, for you have picked these as your challenges. They are the stones on which you choose to whet the keen edge of your spirit. Know that ever about you stands the reality of love, and each moment you have the power to transform your world by what you have learned.

You are life inventing form. No more can you die on sword or years than you can die on doorways through which you walk, one room to another. Every room gives its word for you to speak, every passage its song for you to sing.

Life is not about power. It is about strength, and the source of all strength is within us, but we are fragmented and seperated by our quest for power. We create loose coalitions in the process of gaining power. Ultimately, this weakens and destroys us.

We should therefore seek the unifying factor, for in our unity we are strengthened. Through unity, we lose the illusion of seperation, and we return to the source of all strength. Inside of ourselves. The source of all power is within.

I offer two purposes::

1. The purpose of a relationship is to decide what part of yourself you would like to see "show up," not what part of another you can capture and hold.

2. The purpose of a relationship is not to have another complete you, but to have another with whom you might share your completeness.

As a fiction writer, all of my plots involve a love story along with the rest of the storyline. This even applies to action stories.  Anyway, I made the following entry in my jotbook for a story.

The man is speaking, "I often feel a since of oneness in your presense. I sometimes feel it when we are apart. I honestly believe that our spirits are so closely aligned that that they will always promote a feeling of oneness regardless of how we consciously perceive it."

Although this promotes the idea of soul mates or Twin Flames, I now tend to believe that what we tend to call it on this plane of existence has absolutely nothing to do with its actual state of being.

Simply stated.......oneness is.

Sin is defined as "lack of love." Since love is all there is, sin in the sight of the Holy Spirit is a mistake to be corrected, rather than an evil to be punished. Our sense of inadequacy, weakness and incompletion comes from the strong investment in the "Sarcity Principle" ( you know...not enough love...not enough money) that governs the whole world of illusions. From that point of view, we seek in others what we feel is wanting in ourselves.  We "love" another to get something for ourselves. That, in fact, is what passes for love in the dream world. There can be no greater mistake that that, for love is incapable of asking for anything.
